This quick guide Hogwarts Legacy will teach you how open the chests with the eye in the center inside the new game from Portkey Games and Avalanche. Within the game, and much more often than you think, you will come across white and finished chests, which they hide inside 500 gold Galleons each! For this reason, when you meet them, do not ignore them and stop to open them.

But how do you open them? Simple, becoming invisible! There are several ways to become invisible in Hogwarts Legacy and keep the eye of the chest from seeing you, and the simplest ones are:

• Drink an invisibility potion: the invisibility potions can be distilled directly by you, but they require time and ingredients, so you should always have a supply with you in order to open the chests. It is not the recommended method, since it could become expensive and deprive you of resources that you could exploit in other ways.
• Casting a Disillusionment Spell: this is the best solution, the fastest, pragmatic, and above all FREE. To use it, however, we will first have to learn it, and we will be taught during one of the main missions by Sebastian Sallowwhen he will help us in in the forbidden wing of the library. We therefore invite you to wait for that moment, learn the spell, and then go hunting for the chests with your eye!

Whether it is with one method or another, you will open the chest simply by approaching it and pressing the action key. I recommend though, if the cashier has already seen youeven if you become invisible it will not open: you will therefore have to return to a point where it does not see youbecome invisible, and then try again.
